With the sad news that Elaine passed away in June, the 10th of July (what would have been her 69th birthday) is now officially 'World Shuvit Cancer Day'.

#ShuvItCancer, aka Elaine Shallcross, is a 68 years young woman, diagnosed with cancer, who has never stood on a skateboard before. In a campaign that has captured the hearts of the skate community, she is training to do a shuvit to raise money for cancer research by her 69th birthday.
